Emtidi sind hauptsächlich durch ihr Album 'Saat' bekannt geworden, das 1972 auf dem Pilz-Label herauskam. Schon 1970 war auf dem kleinen Thorofon-Label in Kleinstauflage ihr Erstling erschienen, einfach 'Emtidi' genannt. Während auf der ersten LP-Seite ziemlich traditioneller Folk mit akustischer Gitarre und englischem Gesang zu hören ist (vielleicht an den frühen Bob Dylan erinnernd), klingt es auf Seite 2 schon wesentlich psychedelischer, und die Flöte und zwölfsaitige Gitarre werden reichlich eingesetzt. Der männlich-weibliche Duett-Gesang, durchweg englisch, ist angenehm anzuhören. Die Ausgabe auf Garden of Delights ist nicht zu vergleichen mit der billigen Germanophon-Ausgabe von 1995, denn sie stammt nun vom Mutterband, und im Heftchen erfährt man so ziemlich alles, was man über Emtidi wissen will..
