Kathleen returns with a new ten-song album that embodies Edwards' signature lyrical sharpness and fearless observations, produced by Grammy Award winners Jason Isbell and Gena Johnson. Edwards is considered one of the pioneers of modern alternative country and Americana music and is beloved by fans and fellow musicians alike. The New York Times praised her for her “quirky, observant, and unflinching tone that is all her own. At her best, Edwards possesses the colloquial and emotional eloquence of a great short story writer.”
Since her debut in 2003, Edwards has released five albums, including Total Freedom (2020)—her first after nearly a decade-long musical hiatus.
