Born in Örebro in 1967, Eva Östlund has matured into a top-known artist in Sweden under her stage name Eva Eastwood. Active with her band The Major Keys since the turn of the millennium, the singer and composer has been a permanent guest in the Swedish charts and on national radio and television with her albums since 2005.

With her modern songs in the style of country, rockabilly and rock'n'roll from the '50s to the '70s and her approachable and dreamy voice, Eastwood has hit a nerve, and colleagues such as The Boppers, Linda Gail Lewis, Lalla Hansson, Berth Idoffs, Jerry Williams and Larz-Kristerz have also benefited from the more than 800 songs she has composed.
