Three years ago, country icon and singer-songwriter Guy Clarke passed away. With Guy, Steve Earle dedicates a special album to his musical companion, bandmate, friend and mentor in 2019.

He has recorded 16 tracks for it. Included are classics like Desperados Waiting For A Train and LA Freeway. There was already a first single release with the song Dublin Blues.

Earle is supported on Guy once again by The Dukes: Kelley Looney (bass), Chris Masterson (guitar), Eleanor Whitmore (fiddle), Ricky Ray Jackson (pedal steel guitar) and Brad Pemberton (drums/percussion).

There are also guest contributions from Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, Terry Allen, Jerry Jeff Walker and Mickey Raphael.
