Blessed with a formidable frontwoman in Brett Anderson, a guitar heroine in Allison Robertson, and a pounding rhythm section in bassist Maya Ford and drummer Torry Castellano, The Donnas were one of the biggest punk bands of the '90s, male or female, bringing a uniquely hedonistic yet feminist point of view to the genre. Now, finally, Real Gone Music, in full collaboration with the band, is releasing the first-ever vinyl retrospective of their early days, which they recorded (mostly) for the Lookout! Label, with 14 non-LP sides. (Real Gone will later release the group's four Lookout! albums).

Almost all of these songs, from the first single "High School Yum Yum" to the REO cover "Keep On Loving You," have not been available on vinyl since their original release, if ever. Rare photos and memorabilia, plus track-by-track commentary and liner notes (on the included insert) from all four band members, make "Early Singles 1995-1999" truly indispensable for Donnas fans. Remastered for LP by Mike Milchner of Sonic Vision, pressed on metallic gold vinyl (because these tracks should have been gold records!) and limited to 2000 copies worldwide. This gold version is only available in record stores as part of Record Store Day.
