THE FLESHTONES haben schon Garage Rock gespielt, bevor der Garage Rock ueberhaupt Garage Rock hiess und ueber 30 Jahre lang Rockclubs wie Max's Kansas City spontan in Discos verwandelt. Waehrend Charthits und Titelblaetter ihnen nicht vergoennt waren, erspielten sie sich stattdessen den Ruf der am haertesten ar- beitenden, authentischsten Rockband des Planeten. Das Resultat dieses Rufus ist ihre neuestes Album 'brooklyn Sound Solution', auf dem der legendaere Lenny Kaye zu Gast ist. Neben seiner Rolle als Gitarrist fuer PATTI SMTIH ist er ueberdies Verfasser der Linernotes fuer die legendaeren Garage und Psychedelic Compilations 'Nuggets'.
