This reissue of the 2009 album Falling Through the Cracks is the second release from Detroit-based guitarist and vocalist Doug Deming and The Jewel Tones. The album features two of today's finest harp players - Kim Wilson (leader and co-founder of the Fabulous Thunderbirds) and Dennis Gruenling, who recently released a critically acclaimed Little Walter tribute CD. Also featured on the album is Washington, DC keyboardist Bill Heid, known for his work with artists such as Koko Taylor, Henry Johnson and Fenton Robinson. These are rock solid performances in a program that encompasses a variety of blues styles.
