George de Fretes played an important role in the Hawaiian and Indo-Rock music scene. When he was sixteen years old, he formed his first music group. He composed many new songs and played many traditional pieces. He also played many musical instruments such as the trumpet, saxophone, guitar and violin, but he was the world champion on the steel guitar. He died in November 1981 and after his death some family members continued with the Royal Hawaiian Minstrels. This album of 22 songs is part 3 of five unique albums he recorded at home. A nostalgic document.
