Keiner beherrscht wie er die Sounds der 40er/50er Jahre und schreibt Songs die so klingen, als wären sie schon 1951 in den Jukeboxes an der Westküste gelaufen. Der 'Hammer' jedoch ist seine Version von Iggy Pops 'No Fun'. Auch Pops Popnummer klingt wie frühster R&B. Klasse / Recorded at the famous For Horton Studios in Austin, Texas. Great garage sound. Curran is the reigning king of retro blues & r&b. He's simply< the best when it comes to the reproduction of the original '40s/'50s sounds in blues and r&b. And he's writing new songs that sound like being played on a Southern Californian jukebox in 1951. But the biggest surprise is his version of Iggy Pop's 'No Fun'.
