The two albums by legendary band Cravinkel are being released together on CD for the first time—including bonus material. What began in 1966 as the beat band “The Macbeats” in Nordenham developed via “Just Us” into the progressive rock formation Cravinkel—with Kralle Kravinkel and Stefan Remmler as central figures. The self-titled debut album from 1970 combined blues, soul, and rock with psychedelic elements.
Two years later, Garden Of Loneliness followed, which became significantly more experimental and progressive with three expansive long tracks. Despite touring with Frumpy and Spooky Tooth, commercial success eluded them—but the music endured. Today, both albums are considered cult classics of German underground rock.
