(Truly Handmade Records) 15 tracks, digisleeve

Almost exactly eight years after his death in 2016, “Truly Handmade, Vol. 1” is a new album by Texas outlaw country and singer/songwriter great Guy Clark. The 15-song compilation will be released on vinyl and digitally and will feature both well-known and unknown tracks in their purest form. The musician's website states: “Guy's fans have certainly heard ‘L.A. Freeway’, ‘Let Him Roll’ or ‘Lone Star Hotel’ dozens of times, but certainly not in this purist and very personal form.”
Around half of the songs are said to be previously unreleased tracks, either outtakes from his studio albums or even the first demos from the early seventies. Also included is a very early version of “Step Inside My House”. Clark had often stated in his life that this was the first song he had ever composed.
