The Charcoal Sunset are a Berlin-based band whose debut album offers a surprising blend of rock, folk, and Americana:

It’s no surprise that they’ve already been booked as the opening act for bands like The Avett Brothers, Seth Lakeman, and Chikinki. Their very first EP was selected as “Demo of the Month” by the editors of *Visions*. The Charcoal Sunset succeeds in writing great songs in which fantastic melodies, versatile arrangements, and profound lyrics come together to form an album that, without exaggeration, can already be described as timeless. We hear echoes of Wilco, Bright Eyes, and Ryan Adams; even Springsteen and Dylan can be identified here as serious influences.
