Often described as a unique, under the radar string band that simply sounds like no other - Lafayette, Louisiana's Cat Head Biscuit Boys have been a working unit for the past eight years and are highly revered as a local favorite. Their singular sound blends country soul with swing, swamp pop, and other varied influences. They have been known to surprise their audiences with off-the-wall interpretations of music from varied sources that are seldom associated with string band music. Their debut EP offers a glimpse into the genre bending propensity of the band, as each track hints at a completely different style from the next - ultimately offering a rewarding experience much like the southern treat they are named after......topped with a side of country gravy.

The Tex-Mex accordion genius Josh Baca, of San Antonio’s world-famous Los Texmaniacs, makes a special guest appearance on the track Creole Tomato.
