BONESHAKERS Pull Up The Roots (LP)

The Boneshakers – Pull Up the Roots: The Berlin & Hotel Session showcases a blues and soul band focused on direct performances and the natural sound of stripped-back arrangements. Released by Gulf Coast Records, the album reflects the group’s long-standing musical partnership. At its centre are the distinctive voice of Jerry Langer and the expressive guitar work of Randy Jacobs, formerly a member of Was (Not Was). Rather than relying on elaborate production, the recording emphasises the musicians’ interaction, spontaneous moments and the character of each instrument. The result offers an intimate, unpolished perspective on the band’s blend of blues, soul and Americana. This LP edition is pressed on teal green vinyl.
