The Osnabrück Blues Company used the time during the Pandemic to write songs for a new studio album. The album is finished, but for its recording the way did not lead to the studio, but: The band was invited to the Blues Festival in Lahnstein in the fall of 2022, where their performance was recorded by SWR (radio & TV). A fitting premiere for the new pieces!

So the highlight now is that the super successful recording of the excellently performed songs made a studio recording unnecessary and uninteresting for the new album "United Nations Of Blues". The musicians of the Blues Company have always preferred the live atmosphere with audience to the studio work.

To hear there is from 2023 this concert completely on CD or double LP!
With the 14 live recorded titles: eight new, two newly arranged older blues co. numbers and four standards, a balanced mix of old and new has been created.

Im Jahr 2016 feierte die Blues Company aus Osnabrück ihr 40-jähriges Bühnenjubiläum. Die von dem Gitarristen, Sänger und Songwriter Todor 'Toscho' Todorovic gegründete Band hat seitdem mehr als 4.000 Konzerte in 14 Ländern gegeben und mehr als 20 Alben veröffentlicht - das erste davon war eine Live-LP, die 1980 erschien. Sie spielen Shows in ganz Europa, in Russland, Israel und den Balkanstaaten. Angeführt vom charismatischen ’Toscho’ begeistert die Blues Company seit Ewigkeiten eine stetig wachsende Fangemeinde von Anhängern mit ihrem kristallklaren Sound, einem umfangreichen Repertoire an eigenen Songs und großer Handwerkskunst. Der individuelle Stil der Band wurde im Laufe der Jahre verfeinert und verbessert und ist unverwechselbar geworden – unabhängig davon, ob die Band in einer kleinen Besetzung oder mit Bläsern und Sängerinnen auftritt.

Todor Toscho' Todorovic wurde 1951 in Lingen im Emsland als Sohn jugoslawischer Eltern geboren, die nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg in die Bundesrepublik Deutschland geflohen sind. Er war noch jung an Jahren, als er seine Liebe zum Blues entdeckte. Doch zunächst studierte er klassische Musik, was Toschos aktuelles Engagement im Musikunterricht als Dozent am Institut für Musik der Fachhochschule Osnabrück ermöglichte. Die Leistungen des Frontmannes der Blues Company wurden 1993 mit der Verleihung der Bürgermedaille durch die Stadt Osnabrück und 2012 mit dem Kulturpreis des Regionalverbandes Osnabrücker Land gewürdigt. Im Jahr 2012 gab es eine anstrengende zwölftägige Tournee durch Russland mit zehn Konzerten zusammen mit seinem Blues-Company-Kollegen Mike Titre und einer Gruppe russischer Musiker, die trotz 14.000 Flugkilometern, der Transsibirischen Eisenbahn und des Reisebusses und der Durchquerung von fünf Zeitzonen zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis wurde. Und die Geschichte wird noch viel weitergehen.....

Seit mehr als drei Jahrzehnten ist die Band eng mit dem süddeutschen Plattenlabel In-Akustik verbunden, das stets ein Auge auf Produktion und audiophile Klangqualität hat. Die Band kann nun auf einen Output von 14 Studioalben, 6 Compilations, 5 Live-Alben und 3 DVDs/Videos zurückblicken - ohne die beiden Soloalben, die Toscho Todorovic ebenfalls veröffentlicht hat.
