With this strong record, consisting of eleven tracks, the quartet from the Black Forest marks its entry into the great hopes of this timeless genre. The compositions are perfect and combine melodic power and relentless rhythm, which makes it possible to recognize the talent of the band leader and singer Joe Fisher, whose voice not only bears similarities to that of Paul Rodgers, but also to that of Tom Vela, the guitarist and producer of the album, undoubtedly a future big name in the field of six-strings. An album that has everything to be the perfect calling card for a band that is undoubtedly heading towards a promising future!

The story of Blue Deal already begins in the 90s. At that time, Joe Fischer (the band leader) was extremely successful with the Cadillac Blues Band touring Europe and also caused a stir with a tour in the USA in 1996. The adventure lasted 25 years until it came to an end in 2014. Stylistically mature and building on a myriad of musical experiences, Joe founded Blue Deal in 2015. They toured non-stop in the following years until they recorded their first album Holy Ground in the summer of 2021 and released it in September 2022. The release of the album attracted a lot of attention, Blue Deal received rave reviews and even got a full-page report on Tom Vela in the renowned German magazine Guitar.

In the summer of 2023 they took part in the German Blues Challenge, won and represented Germany at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and the European Blues Challenge in Braga (Portugal). Blue Deal reached the semi-finals in Memphis in January 2024, overtaking many experienced American blues bands. With this success behind them, the band decided to team up with Dixiefrog and release their second album Can"t Kill Me Twice. Blue Deal will present this album on the stage of the European Blues Challenge in Braga in early April. With Can"t Kill Me Twice, a future major player in European blues is undeniably entering the scene. Blue Deal relies on an uncompromisingly grooving rhythm section, creating the framework for the voice of Joe Fischer (whose timbre in some songs is reminiscent of his idol Paul Rodgers) and the extraordinary talent of guitarist Tom Vela, who also produced the album.
