Florida band The Backtrack Blues Band has been performing original blues music since 1980. As one of Florida’s longest running blues acts, Backtrack has performed with many blues legends – Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King , Buddy Guy, Greg Allman, Koko Taylor, Johnny Winter, John Lee Hooker, and Robert Cray, just to mention a few. Solid grooves, stellar guitar, electrifying harmonica. Reminiscent of the sounds of Paul Butterfield and the early Fabulous Thunderbirds, the songs on this record are true electric blues with lots of soul and energy.

Klasse Tradioneles Bluesalbum

Sehr schöne traditionele Blues CD. Die gesamte Band spielt super. Herausragend die beiden Solisten Sänger und Harpspieler Sonny Charles und Lead Guitarist Kid Royal. Beide spielen tolle, überwiegend längere, Soli. Zehn Titel. Davon sechs eigene Titel. Nur ein kurzer Song (2.20 Min.). Sonst alle Titel über vier Minuten oder sogar über fünf Minuten. Gesamtlaufzeit: 68 Minuten. Ein Tip für jeden der traditionellen bzw. Chicagoblues mag. Daher: Mal reinhören !
