Blues Hall of Fame inductee Jimmy Witherspoon and guitar hero Robben Ford performed at the famous Troubadour in Hollywood in March 1972.

This previously unreleased radio broadcast features nine tracks, including three Witherspoon originals and classics by Willie Dixon, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Leiber & Stoller. This is one of the earliest recordings of Ford's extraordinary career, which began in 1970 with Charlie Musselwhite and Witherspoon before he joined Tom Scott's L.A. Express.

He later played with Steely Dan, Kiss, Yellow Jackets, and Miles Davis and appeared on 25 of his own albums.
