The set includes tracks recorded both early and at the height of his career, showcasing his critically acclaimed flat-picking guitar playing style. Featuring guest musicians Eric Weissberg, Roger McGuinn of the Byrds, Gene Parsons and Skip Battin, Byron Berline of the Flying Burrito Brothers and a rare rehearsal appearance with the Everly Brothers featuring Gram Parsons on rhythm guitar.
