Various Nativity In Black - A Tribute To Black Sabbath (2-LP)

(Real Gone Music) 10 tracks, gatefold cover.

Hard to believe in this day and age, but this killer 1994 Black Sabbath tribute 2-LP set was not originally released on vinyl in the USA! The record was certified gold and features the one and only performance ("The Wizard") by the Bullring Brummies, taking the term "metal supergroup" to a whole new level: Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Scott "Wino" Weinrich of The Obsessed and Vitus, Fight guitarist Brian Tilse, and Geezer Butler and Bill Ward of Black Sabbath themselves (not to mention Ozzy singing with Therapy? on "Iron Man")! Megadeth also got a Grammy nomination for their cover of "Paranoid".... and that's Ministry's Al Jourgenson guesting on 1000 Homo DJ's and Bruce Dickinson guesting on Godspeed! Pressed on Gotta Groove Records.
