In 2023, Ace Records released “28 Little Bangers From Richard Hawley's Jukebox,” on which the acclaimed musician, singer, and songwriter from Sheffield compiled some of his favorite records. These were instrumental and vocal tracks that he had collected over the years and that captivated him musically.

Three years later, Richard Hawley has now lifted the lid, removed the 7-inch singles and replaced them with another selection of favorites. This second version of “Little Bangers” is once again packed with great songs such as Chet Atkins' “Boo Boo Stick Beat,” Frank Minion's “Watermelon,” Johnny Todd's “Pink Cadillac,” Sunshine Theatre's “Mountain,” Jet Harris' “Man From Nowhere,” Tracy Rogers' “Baby,” and “Fuzzy And Wild” by The Ventures. As with the first album, the CD contains 28 tracks, which are alternatively spread across two LPs. In the detailed liner notes, Richard Hawley discusses each individual track and its significance to him. As he himself writes in the introduction: “The record you hold in your hands is the result of a lifelong passion.”
