The classic clip from the 1950s features animated treats singing along to award-winning soundtrack composer Jack Tillar, whose song borrows generously from “For He's a Jolly Good Fellow.” Hey, are we crazy, or isn't it a bit cannibalistic for candy to sing about eating candy?

A rousing jazz trio accompanies jazz/pop singer Joanie Sommers (known for her 1962 hit “Johnny Get Angry”) on the standard “Makin' Whoopee,” whose lyrics have been reworked to bring you the tingling taste of Pepsi. A hipster from an animated bebop tableau inspired by Paul Klee sings beatnik proto-rap in the service of Dr. Pepper. An ode to Orange Crush goes down easy, accompanied by hip piano licks.
