Originally issued in 2014, this LP digs into the rawer side of early beat, garage rock, rock’n’roll and pop-rock, delivering a lively collection packed with attitude and guitar-driven excitement.

The line-up includes New York's Goldie And The Gingerbreads, Los Angeles' The Girls, Detroit's The Debutantes and Merseyside's The Liverbirds, alongside Colette & The Bandits, Raylene & The Blue Angels, Gail Harris With The Wailers, The What Four, The Bea's, She, The Ace Of Cups and The She Trinity.

The album opens with Colette & The Bandits' “A Ladies' Man” and continues with highlights such as The Liverbirds' “Bo Diddley Is A Lover”, Goldie And The Gingerbreads' “Please, Please”, The Debutantes' “Shake A Tail Feather” and Gail Harris With The Wailers' “I Idolize You”. Side two adds further cuts from The Girls, The What Four, The Bea's, She, The Ace Of Cups and The She Trinity.

Part of Ace Records' Girls With Guitars series, this vinyl edition was specifically prepared with record collectors in mind. The LP is pressed on 180-gram crimson vinyl and comes with a heavy-duty sleeve, while the inner sleeve features compiler Mick Patrick's notes and a selection of photographs.
