Various Do You Remember 4 (LP)

Various – Do You Remember 4 brings together twelve tracks from the British pop and rock scene of the 1960s. The compilation combines familiar songs with distinctive recordings from an era when beat, psychedelic pop and blues-influenced rock helped shape popular music. The selection includes Twice As Much with “True Story” and “Sitting On A Fence”, Crispian St. Peters with “You Were On My Mind”, Humble Pie with “Natural Born Woman”, Chris Farlowe with “Out Of Time” and Rod Stewart with “Little Miss Understood”. Also featured are the McCoys’ “Hang On Sloopy”, P. P. Arnold’s “The First Cut Is The Deepest”, Amen Corner’s “(If Paradise Is) Half As Nice”, Fleetwood Mac’s “Man Of The World”, the Small Faces’ “Itchycoo Park” and The Nice’s “America”. The varied styles range from catchy beat and melodic pop to powerful rock and psychedelic sounds.
