Around 1956-'57, the United States Armed Services filmed a series of recruitment videos with the top country stars of the day. Unseen for decades, these films capture the all-time greatest Nashville stars of the day singing many of their greatest hits. These are classic 'live' performances that represent the only chance that most of us will ever have of seeing these giants of country music at the very top of their game. Many fans have only ever dreamed of being in Nashville during the 1950s and seeing this parade of top stars. Now that dream is a reality. They're performing 'live' in your living room. Um 1956/57 drehten die United States Armed Services eine Reihe von Rekrutierungsfilmen mit den damals bekanntesten Country-Stars. Jahrzehntelang waren diese Filme nicht zu sehen, die einige der populärsten Nashville-Künstler präsentieren, wie sie viele ihrer größten Hits singen. Es handelt sich um klassische Liveauftritte, und es ist die einzige Chance für viele von uns, diese Giganten der Country Music auf dem Höhepunkt ihrer Karriere zu sehen und zu hören. Für viele Fans ist es immer ein Traum geblieben, in den 50er Jahren in Nashville dabei gewesen zu sein und diesen Aufmarsch der Top-Stars mitzuerleben. Jetzt wird dieser Traum Realität, die Asse spielen 'live' in jedem Wohnzimmer.
