Blues guitar veteran Walter Trout has announced a new studio album: Ride. It is Trout's 30th solo album and was written and recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Eric Corne.

The album's title, he added, could be interpreted in a number of ways. "This album is definitely a musical ride, and I've certainly tried to cover a lot of ground," he said in a press release. "But actually, life is also kind of a ride, isn't it? And I want to live my life to the fullest."

Walter Trout is the beating heart of the modern blues rock scene. Respected by the old guard. Adored by the young guns. Adored by the fans who shake his hand every night after the show, and after five decades Trout is still a dazzling figure on the scene.
