Anyone who has always wanted to know what actually happened to the Norwegian 80s teddy boy cult band The Teencats (the band was regularly in the charts at the time and covered “Linda” by the Ace Cats, among others, very successfully) can now be helped:
After the Teencats disbanded in 1997, three band members got together for a special performance in honor of the Reiten brothers' father. As Stig-Rune Reiten was not involved in this band, the name Teencats was out of the question - and so they decided on the name Trouble Boys, based on the Dave Edmunds track of the same name.

After more than 10 years of slumber, the band has been very busy this year with its new line-up and Stein-Erik Reiten, together with Mads Mikkelsen (Teencats) and Hakon Samland (Rebels Revenge), has recorded a wonderful album in the Teencats style, with 12 of the 17 songs composed by Stigrune Reiten and the others by Hakon Samland and Anders Westhagen. All of them in the well-known and beloved Teencats-Teddyboy-Rock'n'Roll-Revival sound!
