Them's debut finally back on vinyl

“The 'Angry' Young Them” is the first album by the Northern Irish rock group led by singer-songwriter legend Van Morrison. The album was originally released in June 1965.

Six of the 14 songs on the album are Van Morrison originals. These include the well-known “Gloria” and the song “Mystic Eyes”. Other songs were written by US producer Bert Berns, among others. With “Don't Look Back”, “The ‘Angry’ Young Them” contains a cover of the well-known John Lee Hooker song, while “Bright Lights, Big City” is a reinterpretation of the Jimmy Reed classic.

With “The ‘Angry’ Young Them”, the world became aware of a singer who was to write music history in the years that followed: Van Morrison. Now Them's debut is finally back on vinyl.
