Er war für den Sound von Jimmy Reed das, was Jimmy Rogers für die Muddy Waters Band bedeutete: stilprägend. 1974 kam er mit der 'Blues Legends'-Tour nach Europa. In England entstanden diese Aufnahmen mit lokalen Musikern, die ihre Sache jedoch recht ordentlich machen und Taylor genügend Raum lassen. Ausgezeichnet / he was one of the most-underrated blues players in Chicago. Jimmy Reed's sound is largely depending on Eddie's contribution. This fine set was recorded in London during Eddie's visit with the 'American Blues Legends'. Solid support from local guys allowing Eddie to stretch-out. Excellent.
