An awesome project! The renown producer Scott Billington has re-arranged Alan Lomax' field recordings. With new arrangements and newly added instrumental parts, with synthetic grooves and samples he brought new life to these historic recordings. Thanks to Billington for working so sensible and carefully. No in-your-face drum tracks, no cheap keyboard sounds. This is real music. Excellent. I found most previous re-mix projects either boring or stupid. But this is one's perfect. I feel this is a new and successful way to present old-time blues in a new format. You gotta hear this! Feat.
