(2004 'No Budget Records') (32:33/11) 1994 gegründetes schwedische Akustik-Duo, das in den vergangenen zehn Jahren mehrmals auf den namhaften Festivals in ihrem Heimatland gespielt hat. Slim ist inspiriert von Son House und Fred tanzt auf verschiedenen Jazz- und Blues-Parties. Mit der Ausnahme von einem John-Mooney-Titel alles eigenes Material, entweder zu zweit oder begleitet von Bass und Schlagzeug. Schwerfällig, melancholisch, teils düster. Originell und keineswegs platt kopiert. Klasse / This Swedish acoustic duo was founded in 1994. They have been on the road from the polar circle to the south of their country, and they have played all the major bluesfestivals in Sweden. Their blues is original. Slim was inspired by Son House, and Fred's an accomplished jazz and blues piano player. With the exception of a John Mooney cover, all originals. Moody, sometimes dark blues, either performed as a duo or with bass and drums added. Great.
