Sound & Fury is Simpson's fourth studio album.
Produced by Simpson himself, the album was mainly recorded at the McGuire Motor Inn in Waterford, Michigan, together with his band mates Bobby Emmett, Chuck Bartels and Miles Miller, who alongside GRAMMY nominated John Hill (Cage The Elephant, Portugal.
The Man, Bleachers) all act as co-producers.

The album - which Simpson calls a "greasy, steaming rock 'n' roll album" - marks the celebrated singer and songwriter's departure from the acclaimed Grammy-winning "A Sailor's Guide To Earth" (2016).
