Not only will Silly release their new album "Instandbesetzt" in 2021, the German cult rock band will also delight their fans with a special reissue: the albums "Mont Klamott" and "Zwischen unbefahrenen Gleisen" will be available as a double LP in October.

"Mont Klamott" is the second album by Silly. It was originally released on Amiga in 1983. In 1984 the release followed in West Germany.

After the predecessor "Tanzt keiner Boogie" (1981), there was a line-up change. Ritchie Barton, who had been living with singer Tamara Danz for two years, became the new keyboardist, replacing Manfred Kusno and Ulrich Mann. Werner Karma became the new lyricist, which greatly influenced Silly's music. With "Mont Klamott", for which Karma had written all the lyrics, there were difficulties with the censors. The follow-up "Zwischen unbefahrenen Gleisen" was even banned and finally released in 1984 in a toned-down version called "Liebeswalzer."

"Mont Klamott" was nevertheless voted record of the year in the GDR in 1983. The title song landed at number four in the GDR annual hit parade that same year, and the single "Ein Lied für die Menschen" reached number six. The record brought the band its breakthrough.
