Richard Shindell's career took off in 1997 after Joan Baez used three of his songs for her successful album “Gone From Danger”. In the same year, he founded the band Cry Cry Cry together with Lucy Kaplansky and Dar Williams. Not Far Now once again shows Shindell at his best: sophisticated, controversial lyrics and grandiose melodies. The journey is not over yet.
