The highly anticipated new album from longtime British blues/Americana musician Todd Sharpville is out 2022.
Medication Time explores a period of his life 16 years ago when the stress of a custody dispute with the children during a chaotic separation led to a total breakdown and a two-month stay in a psychiatric hospital in West Wales.

"I was not emotionally prepared for the sudden separation from my children that came with the divorce. Until then, I was a control freak, and the realization that control was just an illusion didn't dawn on me until I was overtaken by reactive depression, became suicidal, and was placed in a state facility. Men rarely talk about these kinds of emotions, so they can often take us completely by surprise and overwhelm us.
As a musician, I've been fortunate to be able to balance my work life with my predicament. I also have some great friends. I've managed to get back on my feet. A lot of people can't afford that luxury. A lot of people fall by the wayside and never get back on their feet."
