These songs became a record by accident and unintentionally. They were written sporadically over two tumultuous years where there were more valleys than peaks. We considered it a victory if we could actually get ourselves to write, even if we struggled to produce anything of any quality. In the midst of half-hearted business relationships, being kicked off our label, inconsistent touring and filing for personal bankruptcy, it was hard to be creative. It took a toll on everything: our confidence, our attitude, our health, our happiness.
