Julian Sas Electracoustic (3-LP, Ltd.)

Almost three years have passed since Stand Your Ground, the last album by Julian Sas. Like almost all his colleagues, Dutch blues and blues rock guitarist and singer had to take a corona-induced break. In 2022 he is now back with a new tour and a new album: "Electracoustic".

The enforced period of silence was an emotional time for Julian and his comrades-in-arms. Not only because of the pandemic, but also because of the sad loss of their friend and fellow musician Fotis Anagnostou. Emotions that inspired Sas to write the songs on his new album.

On his Facebook page, the musician wrote: "This new album makes me proud, the way the music was written and played... Slowly the world is opening up, which is a good thing... I don't think there is a way back. We have to stay positive and work for the future ... better days are on the way ... I miss you all, but I think when we step on stage and meet again, it feels like the old days again."

The unusual title Electracoustic describes an unusual album, as the record gathers two sets of twelve new songs each, split into a full-band electric set and a set of acoustic versions.

The whole thing is available on double CD and as a limited 3-LP set.
