The recordings for this new album were made in collaboration with producer Brad Jones at his studio Alex the Great in Nashville. For Edgeland, Richey brought together some of her most talented friends to provide pleasant surprises on the individual tracks with accompanying vocals and instrumental contributions. The result is 12 songs that showcase both Richey's musical adaptability and skill for collaborative songwriting.
