This album of the same name is a milestone. It was recorded in 1972 on Leon Russell's label “Shelter”, who also played piano on the album. Willis Alan Ramsey is a cult legend among fans of Americana and Texas Country. Ramsey's songs have been covered by numerous artists, including “Geraldine & The Honey Bee” by Widespread Panic, “Northeast Texas Women” by Jerry Jeff Walker, “Satin Sheets” by Waylon Jennings & Shawn Colvin, “The Ballad Of Spider John” by Jimmy Buffett and “Muskrat Candlelight” by the band Americana and by Captain & Tennille, who both renamed the track “Muskrat Love”.

This album is so special and all the songs have really stood the test of time.
