Raised By Wolves Hot Blood (CD)

(Stomp & Howl) 12 tracks

Raised By Wolves were a Vancouver, Canada band whose music brought together garage rock, rockabilly and punk with a raw and aggressive rock ’n’ roll attitude. Their 2005 album Hot Blood contains 12 tracks, including I Like To Howl!, Outta Site!, Burn It All Down, Can't Pay My Bills, Flat Black, Get Off My Back, Rats Are Gonna Ride, I Saw You, She Tore Out My Heart, Showtime!, Try The Punch and Trash Like Me. The band’s own description highlighted influences ranging from Jerry Lee Lewis and Hasil Adkins to Screamin' Jay Hawkins and The Mummies. Hot Blood captures that deliberately rough and energetic approach, making it a strong choice for listeners and collectors interested in garage rock, rockabilly, punk and underground rock ’n’ roll from the Vancouver scene.
