From March 27-29, 1972, Elvis recorded at RCA Studios in Hollywood for the first time in 12 years. These dates also marked the debut of his acclaimed TCB live band on the actual recording sessions, resulting in great performances like BURNING LOVE, ALWAYS ON MY MIND, FOOL and SEPARATE WAYS. A few days later, RCA recorded unique fly-on-the-wall versions of his songs at the same venue during Elvis and the band's rehearsals for his upcoming April tour.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of this historic event, this 2-LP set, produced by Ernst Mikael Jorgensen and mixed by Grammy® Award-winning producer Matt Ross-Spang, includes rare studio outtakes and intimate rehearsal highlights.
