Well, I know that Manaus is located at the Amazon river, not at the Mississippi. Anhyow. I have listed this release under 'American Blues' as it soudn sso natural, so real. The band swings with an easy groove. And if I wouldn't know better: this is liek a trim rtip back to the urban dancehalls of the 1940s and '50s. I hear T-Bone Walker performing. This set is perfect, from the recorded music to the cover design. Excellent. Sounds like early Roomful Of Blues. Mostly originals!
