In 1965, George Jones was King of the country charts and Gene Pitney was king of the pop charts. They were both on Musicor Records, and were brought together for a series of duets that resulted in several country hits. The songs included Why Baby Why, I'm A Fool To Care, She Thinks I Still Care, Big Job, Sweeter Than The Flowers, I've Got Five Dollars And It's Saturday Night, Louisiana Man, and Love Bug. As a bonus, we've included some of Gene's recordings of country standards. 1965 wurden der damalige King of Pop und der King of Country von ihrem Label Musicor ins Studio gebeten. Es entstanden hochkaraetige Duettaufnahmen, die auf diesem Album zu finden sind. Als Bonus sind Gene's Versionen bekannter Country Titel enthalten.
