For a long time he had lost his passion for music: the former Journey singer Steve Perry. In 2018 he finally has it again and presents "Traces", the first solo album in 24 years.

Perry last released the album "For the Love Of Strange Medicine" in 1994. Then he retired from the music industry. Only after the death of his girlfriend Kellie Nash in 2012 did he start writing songs again.

He finally recorded ten songs for his third album "Traces", including a cover of the Beatles song "I Need you". He was supported in the studio by Pino Palladino (bass), John 5 (guitar), Nathan East (bass), Josh Freese (drums), David Campbell (strings) and some more.
