Buck Owens: Buck Owens (LP, Ltd. 60th Anniversary Edition, Colored Vinyl)

(Capitol Records) 12 tracks, limited 60th anniversary edition, coke clear vinyl

Long before the glittering silver Telecasters and Hee-Haw, Buck Owens was treading the boards of Bakersfield bar stages, paying his dues and winning fans one twang at a time. This stunningly mature debut album showcases the edgy honky-tonk sound Buck had honed in the clubs and marked the beginning of his long, unprecedented career as an artist for Capitol Records.
