Following their self-titled debut album (2014), split vinyl LP (with HELLFREAKS, THE SILVER SHINE, MISS BEHAVE), and another vinyl EP, the quintet led by singer NURSE CAMY, who is also active as a tattoo artist, pin-up model, burlesque dancer, and bodybuilder, finally presents eleven new songs. Active since 2012 and initially more strongly influenced by psychobilly, NIGHT NURSE have developed a multi-layered dark rock sound, which they themselves like to describe as “Venomous tunes of love, lust and violence.”
Not least, MIKE BAYEND's distinctive double bass is reminiscent of their roots, but the songs shimmer in a dark mélange of influences from punk rock, wave, goth, indie, and 80s hard rock, led by the distinctive and cool, smoky voice of their singer.
“The Antidote” offers a very diverse selection of music with a lot of atmosphere and charisma, ranging from uptempo hits to ballads. Recommended for all fans of dark-colored sounds!

Die heisse Burlesque-Nachtschwester voller Horror-Psychobilly-Rock'n'Roll, die sich neben 'Kitty In A Casket' und 'Bonsai Kitten' mittlerweile als dritte Größe etabliert hat. Musikalisch erinnert sie allerdings eher an Creepshow, denn das extrem überzogene Zuckersüße fehlt ihr zum Glück!
