The Mudd Club are a garage punk band consisting of guitarist Sadie Capps, drummer Julian West and bassist Huw Hickman. Sadie and Julian grew up in landlocked Lawrence, Kansas. Today they spend most of their time between Bristol in the UK and Wales. They write most of their own material, drawing on the best of 50s, 60s and 70s trash and punk. But when they do cover a song, it's guaranteed to be a killer, as in the case of this album, on which they cover Glenn & Christy.....'s "Wombat Twist", released in 1962.
These kids are first class and way ahead of their tender years....A real delinquent teen band (alright, early 20s).
