Magic Slim war und ist eine amerikanische Blues-Gitarristen-Legende, sowie Sänger und Songschreiber. Mit seiner Band 'The Teardrops' war er (neben Magic Sam) einer der bekannteste Vertreter des 'West Side Chicago Blues'!

Er wurde am 7. August 1937 in Yalobusha County, Mississippi geboren und starb am 21. Februar 2013 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
