A few days after Christmas 2021, news reached us that shocked the entire rock 'n' roll community. Caroline Låås, aka Lily Locksmith, had died in her home from a severe brain hemorrhage. She was 37 years old. In the weeks that followed, her family and friends were in incomprehensible grief, with fans and friends sending messages of condolence. At the time of Lily's funeral, thoughts had surfaced and voices were raised: What about the album, should it not be released? Yes! Of course the album should be released. You will own a piece of history, because as unique and powerful her voice is, as warm and caring she was as a person, there will never be another Lily Locksmith.
