LIVERPOOL FIVE Arrive - Out Of Sight

The Nashville Teens – Best And Rarities brings together 24 tracks documenting the repertoire of the British beat and rock'n'roll band. The CD combines a Best Of 1972 selection with ten rarer recordings dating from 1965 to 1971. The programme includes Biggest Night Of Her Life, Let It Rock/Rocking On The Railroad, Chantilly Lace, All Along The Watch Tower, Lawdy Miss Clawdy and Tobacco Road. The rarities section adds titles such as I Know How It Feels To Be Loved, Up Side Down, Last Minute, Hitch-Hike, Cherokee Indian, Looking For You and Ella James. Rather than concentrating solely on the band's better-known material, this release also highlights less familiar singles and B-sides from different stages of their career. Released by Rock In Box Records in 1998 as RIB CD 038, the compilation contains 74:41 of music. For collectors and listeners interested in British beat, rock'n'roll and the catalogue of The Nashville Teens, Best And Rarities offers a useful 24-track overview that brings together better-known material and harder-to-find recordings in one CD edition.
